When words hold a meaning, hand written calligraphy reflects the value that is placed in it. A thank you card, a poem or personalised gift, the importance of the words are emphasised when writing with a nib and pen. Modern and edgy or traditional and elegant I work across many writing styles on different media from handmade papers to acrylic, wood, leather and natural materials. A plain leaf can turn into a beautiful place card, a tile into a keepsake…

To complement my love of calligraphy I studied Botanical Art at Chelsea Physic Garden and Kew Gardens. I now work on commissions that combine both disciplines as well as solely focus on Botanical Drawing in ink and with pen.
